Maastricht Colours You welcomes international students

On 18 June, the ‘pink’ student organizations of Maastricht welcome 3 countries and 14 cities during the International LGBT Student Day 2015.

Maastricht is the most international student city of the Netherlands with students from 70 countries. Almost 45% of the students of Maastricht University is foreign. In a lot of countries, the openness about homosexuality is not as obvious as it is in the Netherlands. This is why the LGBT Student Community Maastricht, which is part of Maastricht Colours You, organizes the International Student Day 2015 in collaboration with Maastricht University, AIMS Amnesty, Gallery MooiMan and big student organizations.

During this day, student organizations of Maastricht will be represented and different ‘pink’ student organizations from different cities come together for a diverse program. Debates, readings and screenings are organized and there will be a picnic, a city tour, a boat trip and a data market.
